Corrections Policy

How LootVora handles factual errors, outdated information, and score updates.

LootVora aims to provide accurate, current, and useful information across our Guides, News, Reviews, and Setup coverage. Gaming information can change frequently, and we take corrections seriously when information is found to be inaccurate or outdated.

Reporting an Error

If you believe you have found an error in a LootVora article, you can contact us at:

contact@lootvora.com

Please include the URL of the article, the information you believe is incorrect, and, when possible, a reliable source supporting the correction.

Official patch notes, developer announcements, publisher documentation, and other primary sources are especially helpful when reporting changes to game mechanics, statistics, settings, characters, weapons, events, or other information that may have changed through an update.

How We Review Corrections

When a potential error is reported or identified, we review the relevant information and compare it with reliable sources.

If the information is incorrect, we update the article as appropriate.

If the issue results from a game update rather than an error in the original publication, the article may be updated to reflect the current version of the game.

Not every change requires a formal correction notice. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or presentation changes may be corrected without an additional notice when they do not alter the meaning of the content.

Material Corrections

When an error materially changes the meaning, conclusion, recommendation, or factual basis of an article, we may include an appropriate correction or update note so readers can understand what changed.

The treatment of a correction depends on its significance and the nature of the article.

Updates to Gaming Content

Games evolve through patches, balance updates, seasons, expansions, events, and other changes. Information that was accurate when published may therefore become outdated later.

Updating an article to reflect a subsequent game change is not necessarily a correction of an original error.

Where appropriate, LootVora may display a "Last Updated" date to indicate that an article has been reviewed or substantially updated.

Reviews and Scores

A factual correction to a review does not automatically result in a change to its score.

However, LootVora may reassess a review when significant changes to a game materially affect the factors considered under our Review Methodology. This is particularly relevant to live-service games that can change substantially after release.

When a review score is materially revised, the article should provide appropriate context for the updated assessment.

Our Commitment

We do not remove or ignore a legitimate correction simply because it affects a conclusion previously published by LootVora.

Our priority is to keep our coverage as accurate and useful as reasonably possible and to correct meaningful errors when they are identified.
